All parts in contact with milk need cleaning promptly and regularly.
Partially clogged milk lines reduce performance, lead to breakdowns and can pose a sanitary risk.
So what's the solution?
Using an approved cleaning solution for the care of Auto-Cappuccino froth systems, milk lines, and milk delivery parts of automatic coffee machines is essential.
Specially designed Milk Cleaning Solution breaks down the build-up of milk residues and fats that cause blockages, odour and bacteria.
This alkaline-based cleaner extends the life of your automatic machine and helps reduce breakdowns, blockages, anPlease unnecessary service visits.
Cleaning your automatic coffee machine without damaging equipment parts is a highly effective product.
Milk Cleaning Solution is also great for clean steam wands and milk jugs used in manual espresso coffee machines.
In particular, the tiny holes used to "disperse steam" in manual wand tips will quickly clog if not cleaned immediately.
It can be performed by either "blowing" steam to push the trapped milk straight after use or soaking the steam wand in a solution with hot water to dissolve solids trapped in the steam wand tip.
Use:
Mix 50 ml of solution with 1 litre of water - please ensure you read the directions listed on the product.
Auto Frothers: after running the solution through the frothing device, ensure the process is repeated twice with fresh water to remove residual chemicals from cleaning agents.
Soak all milk lines and frothing components once a week for 30 minutes in hot water and solution, and remember to rinse thoroughly afterwards in fresh water.
Steam Wands:
- Mix the diluted cleaning solution in a milk jug with water as you would with milk.
- Turn the steam on & off over 3 minutes, allowing the solution to work inside the steam arm via venturi action.
- Repeat the process twice with fresh water.
